Ad-Hoc Travel Requests are required to manage travel exceptions to Master Rotation Travel and for requesting single journey travel not related to Master Rotational journeys.
Ad-Hoc Travel Requests apply both to Contractor and BP travelers.

Self-Service: Create a Master Rotation
Changing Rotational Travel (Current & Future)
When to create Ad-Hoc Travel Requests...
- When you need to change a future Master Rotation Travel Request for specific Hitches
- When you require a single Travel Requirement outside any Master Rotation need - i.e Meetings on the Slope or back in Town.
Use Case Situations....
I need to fly to the Slope a day or so later due to illness
Cancel the related Travel Request, create an Ad-Hoc Request for the new Hitch period starting on the new date.
I need to fly back to Town for a meeting and then back to Slope during my Rotation
Create a new Ad-Hoc Travel Request, leaving your existing Hitch Travel Requests in place - Just remember to make the flight from Dead Horse to Anchorage!
I need to move my return trip whilst I'm on the Slope on a Hitch
Once you begin your travel you will be locked from making changes. Click the Current Button bnext to your travel request. This will allow you to compose and send an internal message to be sent to your Travel Planner(s) to perform any changes.
Note: Your Future Master Rotation Travel does not move if you come back later than original Master Rotation.
Steps in Creating Ad-Hoc Travel
The following steps apply whether the Ad-Hoc nature of travel is related to a Master Rotation Change or a single travel requirement.

| 1 | Ensure the Roster selection is set to No Roster - This indicates to the system its Ad-Hoc travel |
| 2 | Select the appropriate Booking Template to match your Ad-Hoc Travel Requirements in terms of Flight times and/or Camp Accommodation. You can select One-Way journeys - look out for the Templates with "Flights Only" in the title. |
| 3 | Select the dates you are wanting to travel. Your Ad-Hoc Travel Request will use these dates for the flights and/or Camp Reservation period. If you require only a One-Way journey then leave the Last Work Day the same as the First Work Day Date. |
| 4 | Click -> Submit Request button and Confirm the requirement by Clicking -> Yes. The Ad-Hoc Request will now go for approval and appear in the My Trips / Rotations - Pending Approvals list until approved. |
